Magdalena Kleinberger-Pierer has worked independently with convelop since autumn 2013 and supports the team as consultant as of June 2014. She is involved in a range of di-verse tasks which include mainly research, data preparation and the writing of re-ports. Her main topics of interest are (social) sustainability and diversity, but also research, technology and innovation policies.

Magdalena Kleinberger-Pierer studied environmental systems sciences and sustainable devel-opment at the University of Graz, and received her interdisciplinary PhD in envi-ronmental system sciences in January 2016. She did internships at the Office of Science and Technology at the Austrian embassy in Washington, DC, and at JO-ANNEUM RESEARCH. Furthermore, she was a guest scientist at the Leibniz Insti-tute for Agricultural Engineering in Potsdam. Since 2013, she also teaches at the Institute of Systems Sciences, Innovation and Sustainability Research at the Uni-versity of Graz.

At the moment, Magdalena Kleinberger-Pierer is on maternity leave.
